The Rotating Banner element enables you to add multiple images to your signature design and, as required, set how the image(s) will rotate when the signature is generated.
To add a rotating banner to your email signature, simply drag and drop the Rotating Banner element onto the signature/gridded background.
The Rotating Banner window is displayed:
Once you have dropped the Rotating Banner element onto your signature, you can customize it to suit your organization's requirements.
This page describes the steps on how you can:
Inserting Rotating Banner
To insert a Rotating Banner in your signature:
- Click Add Image to add an image placeholder to the list.
- You can add a maximum number of 15 images to the rotating banner element.
You can upload an image with a max size of 150KB.
The recommended file formats are JPG, JPEG and PNG.
- If you add more than one image, the bin icon appears next to the images.
- To delete an image, select the required image and click the bin icon next to it.
- Once a maximum number of 15 images have been added, the Add Image button is disabled.
- Select an image placeholder (see example screen below with
), then in What type of image do you want to insert (see example screen below with
), you can either:
- Enter the linked image URL which needs to be linked to the signature, or
- Click UPLOAD IMAGE to locate and select the required image file that needs to be embedded within the signature.
NOTES:
- Link Image: links an image that's hosted elsewhere.
- Embed Image: embeds the required image in the signature. - In Hyperlink, enter the required target URL that will open when the image is clicked.

In Alt Text, enter an 'alternate' text to be shown if, for some reason, the selected image cannot be displayed.
Now, select how you would like the image to rotate.
- From the How would you like the images to rotate? drop-down list, select how you wish the image to rotate when the signature is generated. You can select:
- Randomly whenever a signature is generated: An image will be randomly selected to display.
- Randomly change hourly: An image will be randomly selected to display every hour.
- Randomly change daily: An image will be randomly selected to display daily.
- Rotate in order hourly: The selected image will be rotated every hour.
- Rotate in order daily: The selected image will be rotated every day.
NOTE: You can preview the selected time-based rotation rule from the Properties pane.
Defining Rotating Banner properties
To define how the banner will look in your email signature:
When you add or edit an image or logo, the Image properties are displayed on the right-hand pane.
Image properties
Images properties specify where the image file can be found:

Background properties
Background properties define what (if any) background is applied to the image. The default setting is for transparency; however, you can choose a colour if required.
Background | Enter or select the background colour of the image/icon. |

Visibility properties
Visibility properties determine the circumstances under which the selected image should/should not be displayed:
Always visible | By default, Always visible is selected. This means that the selected image will always be visible in the signature. |

Auto-hiding separator | This option is not valid for images. |
Visible when | Select to define the conditions when the selected image needs to be visible on the signature. |
Alignment properties
Alignment properties determine the horizontal and vertical alignment of the selected image:
Horizontal | Select one of the required options to horizontally align the image within the signature. The different options are: Left, Center, Right, Justify or Stretch. |

Vertical | Select one of the required options to vertically align the image within the signature. The different options are: Top, Center, Bottom. |
Border properties
Border properties define borders for the selected image:
All | Select border properties from the options available, then select All the same to ensure that all borders (left, right, top and bottom) within the signature have the same properties. By default, no border is applied, and the border size is set to zero (0). |

Left / Right / Top /Bottom | Select individual border properties (left, right, top and bottom). These options are enabled if All the same option is not selected. |
Padding properties
Padding properties define spacing for the selected image:
All | Select padding properties you want to apply (left, right, top and bottom) across the selected image from the options available. Select All the same to ensure that the selected image has the same padding throughout. You can select the padding in pixels or points. By default, no padding is applied. |

Left / Right / Top /Bottom | Select individual padding settings for left, right, top and bottom. These options are enabled if All the same option is not selected. |
Size properties
Size properties define the size of the selected image:
(The maximum dimensions for an image are 2048 pixels by 2048 pixels)
Width | By default, the width is set to auto. This means that the image will adjust its width depending on the size of the message viewer. If required, you can also enter the exact width for the selected image - in pixels or points. |
