If you want to add or change your email signature design, you'll work on the Signature Designer. The Signature Designer enables you to customise your email signatures to suit your organisation's requirements.
The below screenshot outlines the Signature Designer layout in the new Exclaimer Cloud interface:
The table below describes the different options displayed on this screen:
|Click to edit the signature name.|
|Toolbox: Includes all elements that can be added to the signature. These are organised into logical groups and, as required, can be expanded and collapsed.
The different signature elements available are Text & Fields, Social media, Legal & Compliance, Tables and Images & Icons.
To add an element to your signature, simply drag and drop it into the signature design (that is, the signature canvas area). When you drag and drop the element, the associated properties are displayed.
In this example, Text is selected and all its associated properties are displayed on the right side.
Signature canvas: The canvas is where your signature design takes shape.
- If you want to create a signature from an existing Exclaimer template or you want to make changes to an existing email signature, then the canvas will display the current design.
You can customise your signature design by adding or by removing signature elements:
|Preview pane: Displays the signature in dynamic preview mode while you are making the changes to the signature design.|
|Properties of the selected element.
In this example, all associated properties of Text are displayed.
|Action buttons help you assist in the making of your customised signature.
The different buttons available are:
New: Click to create a new signature. This option will close the Signature Designer with the existing design - a message box is displayed prompting if you want to save your changes.
Undo: Click to undo the last edit (keep pressing this button to undo older edits).
Redo: Click to redo the last undo action (keep pressing this button to redo older undo actions).
Save Changes: Click to save the current design and keep it open for further changes.
Cancel Changes: Click to cancel any changes made.
